This pedal has distinctly classic California-ish overdrive tones.The gain and volume controls are all that's needed to get some seriously awesome, hot rodded, classic, amp tones. The Overdrive Special, like all our pedals, is very dynamic and responds well to your guitar's volume knob and your pick attack.
